Come join us in the Glen for a magical walk with Dr. Jenny Butler follklorist and scholar of religions. Jenny will guide us through the folklore of the fairy month of Bealtaine – a time when the veil is thin and fairies can make themselves known. Jenny will lead the walk in the company of visual artist, Elinor Rivers who will offer some practices that will connect us with this enchanted place.

Dr Jenny Butler’s  interests span Contemporary paganism, Wicca, Druidry and Contemporary Shamanism. Hear a feature length interview about the ‘Fairy Lore and Landscapes Exhibition’ in the Boole Library, University College Cork, curated by Dr Jenny Butler here (Artefact Arts and Culture Show broadcast on Community Radio Youghal, 23 May 2019)
