National Biodiversity week in Cork City

The Glen is listed four times for national Biodiversity week – Fabulous – I am gutted that I will miss the insect talk with entomologist John O’Sullivan, organised by Cork Nature Network on Saturday 25th – I was at his talk last year and it was fascinating and delightful as we leapt through the long (unmown) grasses with our nets collecting all kinds of hidden, wriggling life …. highly recommended! We will be hosting the rain garden event with Cork Community Garden on Thursday morning of the 23 May and A whole day event looking at Plantlife (morning) and Púcaí (afternoon) with plenty of creative opportunities along the way as you can see on our events page and in the Cork City Council Brochure here
